If you haven't read about it yet, where have you been?!
Apart from moving over to Wordpress and Google Reader will be closed on the 1st of July. So this will prove GFC to be useless.
Why?! Because when you follow a new blog through GFC it automatically add's its feed to Google Reader, this is then synced with your feed on your dashboard on Blogger. From your Blogger dashboard you can also manually add blogs to keep track of.
So now because Google Reader is closing in turn GFC and the feed to your Blogger dashboard will stop.
Now here's where the fun starts.
If you're already signed up to Bloglovin' then you can import your Google Reader site's to it. And your done.
If your not signed up, it's easy. You'll just need a email address, then claim your blog (if you have one) and then follow more, new and exciting blogs all in one place. Again you can also import from Google Reader.
Again I'm already on Bloglovin' and you can follow me here.
There is also a email sign up box in the bottom right hand corner of my blog.
It's a good thing I moved when I did :).

Update Your Feed!
Hi guys!
Since moving over to Wordpress I can't take my GFC peeps with me so you have to change how you follow me.
For non registered people of Wordpress, there will be Follow box on the bottom right hand corner of my blog.
You can also follow me through Blog Lovin'
And you can add my blog URL to your google reader.
I would love to take the GFC widget with all my followers but I can't, so I'm starting again.
I hope you'll join me!
Thanks

On Thursday Orchid played host to Aberdeen's first official North East Blogger Event. NEBE is run by Laura of Liparazzi.
The guest of the night was Sara Hill founder of the Academy of Make Up. Based in Glasgow the academy trains students from all over the world.
As part of the event Sara gave advise, recommendations and tips on all aspects of make up. Laura's friend Pamela was the model and Sara done a smokey eye with flicked eyeliner. She encouraged to us ask questions through the demo and gave us time to have photo's taken during the interval.

Liquid Palisade Review
This is quite a quick after initially receiving the product as I don't have to wait for anything to happening long term.
I first seen Liquid Palisade on Jane's blog, British Beauty Blogger. So it's been a few months. I emailed the company a couple of weeks ago to ask about international shipping and/or European distribution.
The lovely Jess replied and within a day I had a sample on it's way to me, thanks Jess! And to answer my initial question, they do ship international and it's free!
I paint my nails all the time and I was quite intrigued to see how this works and how easy it is to use. The product is designed to be painted around the nail, on the cuticle and outer walls, to catch the polish.
